Welcome to the FIRE Youth Ministry page!  Youth Ministry is an outreach of the parish to the high school youth in the parish and in the community. 

If you're in high school, then this is for you!  Here are some of the goals of going to youth group:

• To help you figure out who our God is, and what that means for your life
• To show you that you are a vital part of this parish and this community
• To deepen your faith, and show you that a life of faith is an adventure
• To give you unique opportunities to have fun with your peers
• To meet you where you are, wherever that might be

 If you are in high school and are interested in trying youth group sometime, please contact me as soon as you can! I would love to know you, and to introduce you to some awesome people!

Impact: Every Sunday from 4:00-6:00pm in the Ministry Center (convent) unless otherwise noted. Faith and daily life collide with games, discussion, and innovative prayer. All are welcome to stay for Mass at 7pm!

Special Events

IGNITE, a Festival of Praise: Join the whole parish from 7:00-8:30pm for an evening of Eucharistic Adoration, prayer, and worship, led by a live band! Ignite is all about rekindling our passion for Christ, His Church, and the sacraments. Come spend time in the presence of Our Lord and worship with fellow believers! Kids are welcome... in fact, this is a great FAMILY EVENT! The next Ignite is TBA.

CHWC Mission Trip 2012 – We will be deciding where we are going on the Mission Trip next year in early September. Watch Facebook for details!!

We are always looking for adults (21 and older) who are interested in helping with the Youth Group.  Your involvement could be as simple as chaperoning or driving and as involved as helping cook meals on the Fall Retreat.  If you're interested in helping in any way, please contact Erin using the contact info listed on the top left of this page.

All adults in the parish or neighborhood are welcome to come to our adult meetings on the first Tuesday of every month from 7-8pm in the Ministry Center (old convent building).  Each month we discuss that month's events and any other major events in the future.  We also discuss issues our youth are facing, recruiting methods, and possible events for the future.  It's a great way to get plugged into our Youth Ministry program and meet other adults interested in helping our youth grow in holiness.
